Sewcase equips remote community schools with sewing labs, including quality sewing machines and supplies, so they can teach a valuable life skill through traditional projects in the school setting. Your support enables us to equip classrooms and provide direct coaching and educational support to teachers and students.
The Soaring Circle Entrepreneurship Program empowers young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to launch and sustain their own businesses.
The program is delivered in phases :
Through Sewcase, participants engage in a hands-on experience of designing and creating their own fashions, learning what it takes to create and execute a brand.
Through WOVEN, studentscan then learn how to bring a product to market in limited editions, so they may experience the process and determine whether this is the right path for them.
The PennyDrops curriculum, led by students at McGill University, has delivered programming to over 10,000 youth across Canada. Through Soaring Circle, youth access culturally adapted curriculum and peer-led mentorship through friendship centres and our participating lab schools. The program trains student mentors in financial literacy, ensuring that young entrepreneurs are equipped to confidently manage their finances.
Your support helps us to serve more youth and expand our programs. Our zero-fee secure donation platform will send a charity receipt directly to your email.
